How to Avoid Genetically Modified Food

Genetically modified foods are much more pervasive than they ever have been before. Unfortunately for our independent farmers they have been cowed into submission by the Monsanto Corporation. Here are some suggestions for avoiding genetically modified foods:

  • Reduce or Eliminate Processed Foods. Estimates suggest that 75 percent of processed foods contain genetically modified ingredients.
  • Read Labels. Please read the labels! If you spy the following listed ingredients don't buy it. Stay away from corn flour and corn meal, dextrin, starch, soy products, and margarine. Most soy products now come from GM crops. The only exception to that would be if it is listed as organic.
  • Go Organic. Buy organic food items. That's the best way to ensure that you and your family aren't part of some elaborate corporate scheme to control the food supply.
  • Please Read the Produce Stickers. The PLU code for genetically modified produce has five numbers - the first number starts with the number eight (8). Conventionally grown produce will sport a sticker with four numbers. Organically grown produce has five numbers and starts with the number nine (9).
So there you have it. Read your produce stickers and stick it to the Monsanto Corporation!

Radioactive Minerals Mimic Real Minerals

Radioactive Isotopes Mimic Real Minerals
Calcium
Strontium-90
Iodine
Iodine-131
Iron
Plutonium-238, Plutonium-239
Potassium
Cesium-137
Sulfur
Sulfur-35
Zinc
Zinc-65
B12
Cobalt-60

Here is a partial list of the radioactive isotopes and the minerals they mimic. As you can see, these are all essential minerals and nutrients that we need in order to survive. As the popular media calls for an end to global warming amidst the growing demand for "clean" energy, the public is still at risk because of outdated nuclear power plants. (I ask you this - is global warming really going to be an issue if we are all suffering from some sort of disease casued by the cumulative effects of low level radiation?

If nuclear power plants have a long history of acting like good corporate citizens, then I for one would not look upon them with such a jaundice eye, but truth be told, it is exactly the opposite. . Nuclear power plants have a track history of, well, ahem, quite frankly acting like corporate deviants.

What's a Little Town to Do?

 Speaking of corporate deviants...

Case in point, right here in central West Coast Florida we have a long standing problem. A deviant corporation negligently left a pit of radioactive waste just a few yards off the edge of the Anclote river. The Anclote river is a lovely place. It has historical significance as it is the center of the Greek sponge diving industry of Old Florida. It is a lovely quaint Greek town with a big radiation problem. A friend of mine lives in the development across from the "Superfund Site" that was rated one of the top 10 most toxic sites at one time. She told me that during the "clean up" alarms were going off constantly, day and night. So what was resolved? Nothing really. The pit of radioactive waste is still there and the last I heard of it they were going to cap it. Cap it! Are you kidding me! Where are the studies? It has got to be leaking into the Anclote river. I know a woman whose husband and his best friend died of cancer. Hmm... could it be that they were avid fishermen that caught fish and ate their catches from the Anclote river? Just a guess here, but it is high time someone connected the dots. Has anybody bothered to do any studies? If they have, I haven't heard about it. The media certainly doesn't want to discuss it. Hmm... I wonder why? Maybe because it will drive the housing market down and drive away the tourism industry that Tarpon Springs relies upon so heavily.

So that is the story of Tarpon Springs, Florida. What's your story? Is there a Superfund site in your backyard too?

Thyroid Disease

One prevalent health issue today is thyroid disease. Many people suffer from thyroid issues. Within recent years the diagnosis of Hashimoto’s disease has skyrocketed. Hashimotos disease is a thyroid disease that was named after the Japanese doctor who initially discovered and documented this disease in the early 20th century.  Most commonly 1 out of 15 women are diagnosed with this condition following a pregnancy.  Iodine-131 mimics iodine. If our extra cellular matrix is saturated with iodine, it will naturally block the absorption of iodine-131.

More on this topic later.

The Law of Selective Uptake

The law of selective uptake in a nutshell is this: radioactive elements act just like their non-radioactive counterparts. When cells are saturated with the minerals and vital nutrients they need in order to function properly, the possibility that a radioactive mineral or nutrient will
move in to take its place is seriously minimized.
If our diets are lacking the minerals and vital nutrients necessary to block the absorption of these radioactive imposters then the law of selective uptake goes into effect.

Give Your Body What It Needs

I take ionic minerals on a daily basis. When your extra cellular matrix is swimming with a rich supply of minerals in solution, then the dangers of absorbing radioactive isotopes is significantly reduced. Think of it this way, if your cells are starved of minerals and you come into contact with radioactive minerals that minic their non-radio active counterpart, then your body may absorb them, just becasue the real mineral weren't available.

Now, it stands to reason, that if your body has an abundance of minerals swimming around in your extra cellular matrix (that is the space inbeween your cells - its one of the first places your body goes to to get minerals) then then your cells will absorb the real minerals and not the imposers.

Here is where knowledge will help you. In order for your body be able to use the minerals you have to have them right form. The minerals must be "in solution." That means that they must be ionic, which is just a  fancy way of saying that the mineral itself is so small that the body can absorb it. If you take minerals in tablet form the molecules are way too big for your body to absorb. The minerals you buy must say ionic on the label. I buy the Concentrace Ionic Minerals. No, I don't sell them. I just recommend them. I buy them at my local health food store. When you go to your local health food store, don't let them talk you in to buying anything other that ionic minerals. It's your body, It's your health and it's your money. You can by them online too. If you can't find them leave me a post and I'll try to help you locate them.

What does fungus have to do with it?

What does all this talk about fungus have to do with radiation? To be honest, I'm not to sure either. I can tell you this...exposure to low level radiation can cause tumors. Sometimes they are malignant and sometimes they are benign (we aren't even going to discuss the role of EMF's at this time - we'll save that discussion for later). If cancer manifests its self as a tumor then could the cause of the the tumor be fungal? And if it is fungal then is the cause a weakened immune system? Is our immune system compromised due to poor nutrition? If so, what is the cause? Could it be genetically modified foods? Or is it the irradiated ingredients? What role does candida overgrowth play in this scenario? Or could it be a combination of all these factors?

I don't have the answers, but the Lord does.
